Melody Severns. President

Head of GirlsDrawinGirls & former skater with LA Derby Dolls, Melody is currently working in animation on “Transformers Robots in Disguise” in Los Angeles, California.  Her career has ranged from animation layout artist, storyboard artist, production manager, producer, and gallery curator.  She started GirlsDrawinGirls in 2005 with friend, and “Bojack Horseman” assistant director, Anne Walker Farrell with only 18 members.  Since then, the group has successfully become the largest international collective of women entertainment artists in the world with 200+ members from all over the globe.  When Melody isn’t working you can catch her spending time traveling, at mimosa brunch with friends, doing yoga, being a movie dork, or binge watching episodes of “Golden Girls”.

What do you think is sexy?
Sexy is being comfortable in your own skin and owning it. To not be obsessed with comparing yourself to others. It’s the charisma that comes from being confident and strong. To not back down from what you believe in and to defend it. Being empathetic, but not a pushover. Passion for learning is sexy. Doing your best to care for others and to be a good friend, family member, and mentor. A great sense of humor is always sexy to me. Make me laugh, really laugh, and I adore you. Also…Chris Hemsworth.
